Surgut of Markovo

Surgut of Markovo was born 7 January 1974, sired by Shango of Seppala out of Lyl of Sepsequel and bred by J. Jeffrey Bragg at Brush Farm I on Highway #5 near Clavet on the outskirts of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He was sold as a young dog to Mrs. Maisie Morrow and Bruce Morrow of Parksville, British Columbia.

Surgut of Markovo became one of the most powerful genetic forces of the Seppala Siberian Sleddog breed through his sons Uelen's Beowulf of Sepp-Alta and Uelen's Baron of Sepp-Alta and his daughter Uelen's Ali, all of whom figured very heavily in the breeding of Douglas W. Willett's Sepp-Alta Kennels.
