Seppala Kennels of Harry R. Wheeler
The second historic Seppala Kennels was that of Harry Roberts Wheeler, owner of the Grey Rocks Inn ski resort at Saint Jovite Station, Quebec. The Wheeler kennel began with stock from the Poland Spring kennel of Leonhard Seppala and Elizabeth Ricker, including three of the last (1930) Siberia imports taken out of Siberia by Olaf Swenson. The Wheeler kennel operated from circa 1930 until its final sale in 1950.
